Of Interest – Cover Story

Thrilled to be the cover story in the September 2016 issue of HOUSE BEAUTIFUL!

I wanted to share images from the article as well as others from the photo shoot. All photos by Annie Schlecter – Styled by Doretta Sperduto.
It was a fabulous experience start to finish – I think the photos speak for themselves!!

Of Interest – R Home Magazine

How thrilling to be featured in RHome Magazine! We love this fabulous resource that is right here in Richmond. I think this issue is great – and not only because I’m on the cover! There is lots of information about Interior Design and Decorating – informative and fascinating……plus the lovely homes of other talented designers!

Of Interest – The Eponymous Sofa

Here is a really great “Before and After” of a room in a wonderful home I’ve worked in for a long time. This room has been called “The Blue Sofa Room” for over 20 years and while this fabric withstood many children, many many dogs, two homes, parties and life in general, it was time for a change…Guess we’ll have to come up with a new name for the room now!

The cornice and curtain panels were made for this pretty bedroom using a printed cotton Brunschwig and Fils fabric that my client has had for 40 years.
She treasures it……and it has certainly endured!  I love the way the colors have softened over the years but the pattern remains so clearly detailed and
there is such a classic look to the fabric.  I loved working with this wonderful old/new chintz!
